Piano Foundations offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of piano for beginners.
This course covers essential basics including music theory, key recognition, and simple song playing to build a solid musical foundation. Students learn through a combination of hands-on practice, individual instruction, and collaborative sessions that encourage musical growth and confidence.
The curriculum is designed to help students understand and appreciate the structure of music while developing the technical skills needed for playing.
By the end of the course, students will be able to read basic sheet music and perform entry-level pieces, setting the stage for further musical exploration.
In the Piano Foundations course, students start with the basics of piano keys and their corresponding sounds, progressing through scales and chords. Instruction includes reading and interpreting sheet music, enabling students to engage with a wide variety of piano literature.
Through systematic practice, guided lessons, and periodic assessments, learners will enhance their playing technique and musical understanding, laying the groundwork for advanced study.

$50 registration fee
Major: Bachelor’s in Music Education, Concentration in Piano
Experience: 10 years teaching piano at various levels
Achievements: Developed a successful beginner piano curriculum adopted by local music schools.
